Philadelphia 76ers sign Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr. to Exhibit 10 contracts for training camp
PHILADELPHIA — The 76ers Tacko Fall Exhibit 10 contract is nonguaranteed, ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported. The Philadelphia 76ers signed Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr., and Saint Thomas on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026. ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported that all three are on nonguaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts. They will be part of Sixers training camp in Camden, N.J., later this month.
The 76ers Tacko Fall Exhibit 10 deals are camp contracts. They are not a roster guarantee. The team has not said any of the three has made the regular-season roster. It has not promised minutes. This report does not assign a dollar figure to an Exhibit 10 bonus.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a nonguaranteed training-camp deal. The Inquirer, citing a source, described it that way. McMenamin told ESPN the three players would report to camp in Camden.
Teams use these deals to bring extra players into camp. A player can later be waived, converted, or assigned in ways the league’s camp rules allow. None of that has happened yet for Fall, Nelson Jr., or Thomas.

Tacko Fall: 7-foot-6, last in the NBA in 2021-22
Fall is listed at 7-foot-6. He last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has appeared in 37 NBA games. McMenamin noted that he was teammates with Jaylen Brown on the Boston Celtics from 2019 to 2021.
NBC Sports Philadelphia said Fall played 37 games over three seasons with Boston and Cleveland. He averaged 2.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 6.1 minutes. He has not appeared in an NBA game since 2021-22.
Fall most recently played for the Ningbo Rockets of the Chinese Basketball Association, ESPN reported. NBC Sports Philadelphia said he also played for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers, the Nanjing Monkey Kings, and the New Zealand Breakers. The Inquirer said that across four seasons of international play, Fall averaged 11.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks.
Camp is an invitation to compete. It is not a promise that the 30-year-old center will open the season in Philadelphia.
Jameer Nelson Jr. and a Sixers family tie
Nelson Jr. is the son of Jameer Nelson, the Sixers’ executive vice president of basketball operations. ESPN said he averaged 18.9 points on 47.5% shooting, with 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals, in 25 games for the G League’s Stockton Kings last season.
NBC Sports Philadelphia said the 25-year-old guard is from Haverford. He attended The Haverford School. He played college basketball at George Washington, Delaware, and TCU. He earned All-CAA honors in both seasons at Delaware.
He has previous camp experience. Hoops Rumors said he signed Exhibit 10 contracts with San Antonio in 2024 and Sacramento in 2025 and has not played in an NBA game. The Inquirer said he also played professionally in Puerto Rico, China, and Canada.
A family tie to the front office is a fact of the signing. It is not a roster guarantee. Nelson Jr. is in camp on the same nonguaranteed Exhibit 10 terms as the other two players.
Saint Thomas returns from the Blue Coats
Thomas was with the Sixers’ G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, last season. ESPN said he averaged 12.5 points on 46.6% shooting, with 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
NBC Sports Philadelphia said the 6-foot-7 forward is from Omaha, Nebraska. He played at Loyola Chicago, Northern Colorado, and USC. He went undrafted in 2025 and joined the Blue Coats. He also appeared in summer league for the organization, averaging 4.5 points and 4.2 rebounds in four games, the team said.
Thomas is the camp player already closest to the Sixers’ G League pipeline. That still does not mean he has made the NBA roster. Tuesday’s news is that he, Fall, and Nelson Jr. will be in Camden later this month.
Camp is not the regular-season roster
