Editorial Policy

US Local Now publishes original news for a USA local audience.

Sources: We rely on named, checkable sources (official statements, on-the-record reporting, and established outlets). We do not invent quotes, numbers, or dates. Unverified claims stay out of the story or are clearly labeled.

Headlines: The headline must match the article. No clickbait, no fake urgency, no “you won’t believe” framing.

Independence: We do not sell the news hole. Sponsored content, if any, will be labeled.

Images: Featured images are 16:9 and at least 1200px wide. We do not use the site logo as the article image. We do not publish AI-generated faces of real people.

Updates: Material changes after publish get a dated editor’s note. See Corrections.
