She then thanked people who had reached out. Page Six, citing People, quoted her as saying, “My mother would kill me right now if she saw me crying on the air, so we’re going to get it together.”
She added that she wanted to thank everyone who had been kind and supportive after her mom’s passing. “Anyway, like I said, Mom, I’m sorry,” she said, according to that same account.

She added that Fresco by Scotto was not her mother’s greatest achievement. “It was her family,” Page Six quoted from the post.

After Tuesday’s Rosanna Scotto Good Day New York broadcast, Scotto posted a video on Instagram. She told followers it was “time to get back to work…. Mom would have wanted that,” The Independent reported.
She thanked people for text messages, comments, and Instagram messages. “I’m still going through everything, relishing every text message,” she said in the post, according to The Independent.
Returning the way her mother would have
She said that when her father died, her mother had the family working at Fresco by Scotto that same night. “So, I’ve taken more time than she would have allowed if she was around,” she said.
On X, Scotto said she would be “back to work” while “navigating life without my Mom,” The Independent reported.
